We Are Changing Our Name!

Courage to Connect has been a part of this community for 6 years and through a series of circumstances we have decided to change our name. We will fully and officially be welcoming our new name in January of 2024, but will be starting to introduce ourselves as Pathways to Connection Counseling starting in August of 2023. We don’t want to abruptly change our name and leaving the community that we love guessing who we are in 2024.

We still uphold our same values and same foundation that Courage to Connect has been built on. We believe connection, true connection, along our journey is the thing that dictates our path. The ability to show up courageously, authentically, and fully allows us to find the confidence we need to pursue a life that is worth living. We still believe that it takes true heart courage to come into connection in a world that’s cultural current is pulling us to be more and more connected but not in a heart connection type of way. We are excited for the new journey and the path that got us here to this moment of being able to change our name. So if you see both Courage to Connect and Pathways to Connection, please know we are still one in the same. You will eventually come across some new things that will be a part of the name change. We will be updating and redoing our website. We will start to hand out our material with Pathways to Connection on it. You will see a new logo and new brand throughout all of our material.

If you are new to us, please feel free to still browse around and see who we are and what our values and strengths are in this community. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions! Contact us.

About Courage to Connect Counseling

Our love and passion revolves around meeting each individual where they are at and providing high quality care so that people can reach their fullest potential in life.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Animals provide a benefit to therapy by adding a little extra to the process of talk therapy. Animals provide another relationship in therapy that is nonjudgmental, unconditional, and educational.

Play Therapy

Play therapy benefits people of all ages, but specifically children. It allows children to speak in a language that is clear to them. A trained therapist can help bring understanding and words to what is happening a child's inner world.

Littleton, CO

Hello! Thank you for visiting the website of Courage to Connect Counseling PLLC, located in Littleton, CO. I first want to start by thanking you for considering us to share your journey with. Working with people is a passion of each clinician at Courage to Connect, and we see it as a true honor when people choose to share their stories and walk through new journeys with us.

Every person is walking in their own unique journey, unlike anyone else’s, driven by circumstances and emotions. There are successes, hardships, restorations, and relationships intertwined into every aspect of each individual. Some journeys require a little assistance to help with guidance to a place of personal growth. The first step toward growth is scary, because with every change comes an overarching fear of “what comes after?”.

There are the questions of:

  • Who will still be there?
  • Who am I?
  • Who will I become?

  • What is required of me to change?
  • Will I find out that I am crazy?
  • What if I am not “fixable”?

Did you know that courage comes from the Latin root “cor” which means heart. Courage recognizes not only our bravery, but our inner strength to show up and be seen in the midst of everyday challenges. Here, at Courage to Connect Counseling, we not only recognize the courage it takes physically to get up and come to counseling, but also the inner strength that it takes to come to counseling.

So, we welcome you to look around a bit and get a feel for who we are as a counselors. If you have any questions or want to explore further please feel free to contact us. Each counselor offers a free twenty-minute phone interview where we can answer any questions you may have and see if we are a good fit to walk through your journey together.
